Musings from the Mayor of the Internet

There are no girls on the internet

So apparently all males who play female characters in the MMO King of the World have had their accounts closed, and the company is now requiring "photographic proof" of femaleness before allowing players to create female characters.

That’s pretty fucked up. And word on the street is all of my female World of Warcraft characters agree.

  1. I wonder if they’re going to get some harrassment suit or somesuch for letting chicks roll male characters but not the other way around? I know for a fact some gamer girls make their characters male, for whatever reason. Or, well, they would, if there were any girls on the internet in the first place. Which we all know there aren’t.

  2. Don’t think they have harassment suits in China. Could be wrong, though. Fairly sure they have “you do what we say or we shoot you.”
