The Dord of Darien

Musings from the Mayor of the Internet

Footballs

So there was this thing last night; I guess they call it the "Super Ball" or something to that effect. In this event, the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Robbers by a score of 31-25, which implies to me that the pitching wasn’t very good. I mean, 56 total runs scored? Holy shit. Maybe one of you assholes should have signed Cliff Lee.

I’m told that, due to my tenuous connections to the Bears of Chicago, I’m supposed to be upset that the Packers won. I guess, in fact, I’m supposed to hate these packing gentlemen. All I have to say about that is: I think I’ll refrain from expressing any open hostility toward dozens of large dudes who tell me right up front that they’re packing.

Pitchers and catchers in a week. Then this place will really start rockin’.

We’re really doing this?

Once again, I’m taking that bold leap into a few years ago: you can now follow me on the Twitter if I ever decide to twit anything. Sometimes I get real bored and sign up for this Web 2.0 or Web 3.11 or Web for Workgroups or whatever nonsense, which also explains why I have a Foursquare account. Let’s see if I use this one a little bit more.
